Lower Trent Conservation: Wetlands

Stirling-Rawdon Public Library 43 West Front St. Stirling, ON, K0K 3E0
Organized by Library

Lower Trent Conservation presents an interactive program about wetlands. Through hands-on activities, participants will discover how wetlands filter water, provide habitat for wildlife, and help prevent erosion.

The program includes a water filter experiment, turtle models, and guides to explore wetland species, as well as a felt board activity featuring wetland wildlife for hands-on exploration. Additionally, there will be an erosion control demonstration. To wrap up the experience, participants will have the opportunity to reflect through themed colouring pages. These programs are drop in style, come at any point and stay as long or short as you'd like!
