Strategic Plan 2026-2030
In the coming months, we will be developing our next Strategic Plan to guide the library’s direction from 2026 to 2030. As a public library primarily funded by municipal tax dollars, it is essential that we ensure Stirling ratepayers are getting the most from their library services. To create a plan that effectively addresses the needs of our community and patrons, we need to understand those needs better. We have created a patron survey that will be available from March 1 to April 30, and we greatly value your participation and feedback—whether you’ve never visited the library or are a regular library user.
Please take a few moments to complete our survey, which should take no longer than 10 minutes. To access the survey click the link above. Thank you so much for your input!

The Stirling-Rawdon Public Library acknowledges the land on which it is established and the work it does takes place on the traditional and unceded territory of the Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Anishinabek peoples and the neighbouring Mohawk and Algonquin Nations.
We are committed to honoring their cultures and celebrating their commitment to the land. As settler Canadians we acknowledge the injustices of the past and express our collective desire for ongoing truth and reconciliation. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work and provide services on this land and by doing so we give our respect to its first caretakers and stewards.
