- Mary-Ellen Thompson – Art Reception, Saturday, November 9th from 1-2:30pm
Join us next Saturday from 1-2:30pm for the opening reception highlighting Mary-Ellen Thompson.
Mary-Ellen is a fibre artist who uses fabric to tell stories, express feelings, communicate ideas, bring pets to life and celebrate the world around us. Mary-Ellen began her journey into this art form by quilting and sewing with her grandmother. She is often inspired by stories and photographs from the past as well as photographs that she has taken.
- Calling All Artists!
We are currently looking for artists in the surrounding area who are interested in showing their work in our Art Gallery in 2025. Our exhibits in the gallery run for two full months and there is no fee or commission involved. We simply love offering a space for new or experienced artists to share their talents with the community and we appreciate having a changing variety of artwork to warm up our Gallery walls.
If you are interested in being featured in the Stirling Library Art Gallery, please reach out to us for more information.
