Opening Reception: Dan Stewart

Join us for an opening reception on Saturday, July 6th from 1-2:30pm to meet and chat with the artist and enjoy some light refreshments.
“I am an artist and photographer who enjoys painting landscapes and utilizing my creativity. I have used watercolours and pastels but I prefer acrylics and mixed medium. I was inspired to pursue art by my father who was a commercial artist, and later my spouse. When I paint I like to use many of my own photographs as well as photographs my father took when he was in the military stationed overseas. You will find many of my paintings reflect my love of nature and water, this may be in part from years of sailing when I was younger.”
