The Stirling-Rawdon Public Library Makerspace is located in the children’s department but that doesn’t mean it’s just for children! Our Makerspace is a place where people of all ages can learn, explore, experiment and create. There is a number of high tech and low tech items available for use.
In the Makerspace you will find:
- Cricut Maker
- Cricut Heat Press
- Laptops
- Sphero robots
- Makey Makey
- Squishy Circuits
- Snap Circuits
- Lego Education Spike
- Magna-tiles
- Keva Planks
- Craft Supplies (paper, scissors, glue, etc.)
Anything located on an open shelf or in an open drawer is available for use any time the library is open. Programs will be offered regularly where other items will be available to use, such as any of the robotics or higher tech software that may require additional assistance to learn.
The Cricut Maker and Heat Press are available for patron use. Please email haley@stirlinglibrary.com to book an appointment.
