Explore the World Through Books This Summer!

Join our Summer Reading Program and pick up your very own Summer Reading Passport starting July 2nd! Every book you read becomes a new adventure — travel to exciting places, discover different worlds, and explore fresh ideas through stories and imagination.

For every book completed, earn a passport sticker and take one spin per day on our prize wheel for a chance to win fun rewards! Want an extra spin? Tell us about a book you’ve read and spin again!

From fantasy kingdoms to mystery islands, every genre is a different “country” waiting to be explored. Where will your reading journey take you this summer?

June’s theme is Book to Screen!. Read any book that has been adapted into a movie or TV series, then join us to compare the page-to-screen experience, favorite scenes, casting choices, and what changed in adaptation. New members always welcome.

The Stirling MILL Ukulele Group (SMUG) that meets Fridays 10-12 in the Art Gallery is having an Open House and Concert tomorrow, Saturday, June 13th from 10:30-12 in support of the Stirling Musical Instrument Lending Library. Drop in to sing along or try a ukulele! Everyone welcome!

Kids will create colorful pony bead snakes and friendship bracelets using bright beads and string. This fun, hands-on craft encourages creativity, fine motor skills, and making something special to take home. No registration required. Recommended for ages 5 and up.

Plant marigolds and herbs to enter into the Stirling Fair this summer with the Stirling Horticultural Society. No registration required.

Balancing work, family, and ongoing pressure in our everyday lives often leads to a lot of anxiety and can become difficult to manage. Join Brad from Parsons Therapy on Tuesday, June 9th at 6pm for a talk about high functioning anxiety, what it looks like, how it shows up in day-to-day life, and some practical ways people can manage it. Everyone welcome, no registration required.
