The Stirling-Rawdon Public Library offers many programs for adults on a wide range of topics. All of our programs are free to attend (no library card required) and supplies will be provided (unless otherwise noted) but donations are always appreciated. We strive to make our programs as open and accessible to anyone but occasionally we do require registration due to space or supply limits.

Whether you already have several or have not started collecting, join us for an introductory workshop on how to re-pot and propagate your houseplants. This hands on workshop will help equip you with the basics of houseplant care. Learn how to determine when your houseplant should be re-potted, how to propagate your favourites and we’ll also share some tips to keep in mind when caring for your houseplants. - Shiatsu: A Helping Hand in Health: Thursday, April 10th at 6pm
Join Karen Orgee, a certified Shiatsu Thereapist, for an introduction to the healing practice of Shiatsu on Thursday, April 10th at 6m. Shiatsu is a deeply relaxing, effective, and non-invasive manual treatment that helps activate our natural processes for restoring balance and well-being. Originating from Japan, it marries knowledge from traditional Chinese medicine with western medicine to reduce pain, stiffness, and dysfunction caused by conditions such as headaches, digestive disorders, muscle and joint issues, stress and strain, nervous system disorders, and poor circulation, to name a few.
