TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s biggest, bilingual summer reading program for kids of all ages, all interests, and all abilities. Studies show that kids who keep reading all summer do better when they return to school in the fall. The TD Summer Reading Club is a great way to build excitement about reading. Kids can take part anywhere—at local public libraries across Canada as well as at home, online, or wherever summer takes them.
Kids can: join activities happening in libraries, read books online and get reading recommendations, track their own reading and collect stickers and online badges, connect online to share jokes, stories, book reviews, and more with other kids across Canada.
Talk to your local public library staff this summer to find out how your family can join the TD Summer Reading Club and get your free materials!

Join us on Saturday, June 15th from 1-3pm for our newest art show in the Library Art Gallery! This show features Sheila Romard (Oils) and Gregory Maude (Watercolours) in the main gallery. They are joined by Wire Artist, Iris Casey, whose hummingbirds will adorn the gallery windows. Plus the artistic talents of Trenton High School students will be found in the display cabinet in the library lobby. Everyone welcome!

Ontario libraries have received notification from the Southern Ontario Library Services (SOLS) that suspension of Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services has been lifted. With the elimination of the courier delivery service however, participating libraries will now be responsible for shipping costs through Canada Post with partial reimbursement being provided by SOLS. As a result, we (and many other libraries) will need some time to plan for these budget and operational changes and will not be able to offer ILL services until further notice. We thank you for your patience as we work towards finding an affordable solution to continue this valuable resource.
Interlibrary loan service to return, but funding questions remain
