Let’s create a small work of art…from the comfort of your home!
Join us on Facebook or YouTube (a link will be shared under the News tab) on Tuesday, July 13th at 8pm for a step by step tutorial to create an embroidered painting! A Virtual Paint Night Take & Make Kit, containing all the necessary supplies, will be available on July 6th at the library, while supplies last. Call (613)395-2837 or email info@stirlinglibrary.com to request a kit.
If you aren’t able to pick up a kit you can still follow along. The supplies needed are listed below.
- acrylic paint paper
- embroidery thread
- needle
- paint (2 colours are included in the kit but you can use as many colours as you want)
- simple line drawing printed out
- scissors
- tape

March Take & Make Kits!
Here are the Take & Make Kits we will have available in March! Paint by Sticker Kits available now, Bookmark kits available next week and Virtual Paint Night Kits available on the 19th.
The Virtual Paint Night Kit will have all the supplies needed to create a small painting as seen in the image below and then we will post a step by step video the following week so that you can follow along at home and create a cute little painting of your own! More information to follow so watch for that! While supplies last.
Also we still have some Take & Make Kits leftover from February as well! So drop into the library and pick one up today! All our craft kits are suitable for all ages, they’re not just for kids
