Join us for a workshop highlighting the effects of road salt in the winter to the environment and to safe drinking water. We will discuss best practices for keeping your home clear of snow and ice while reducing the use of salt. Learn about alternatives to salt and their benefits, this includes making a jar of sand/ salt mix to take home and get you started!

Please bring a mug you could use as a salt scoop. We will be making a label and decorate to help turn the mug into a measurement scoop to make using the appropriate amount of salt easy.

This group is all about creating for the sake of creating. Try new mediums, techniques and just have fun with art. No experience or artistic ability necessary.
