Highway to the Sky: Women in Aviation – Tuesday, March 10th at 5pm

Join us on Tuesday, March 10th at 5pm for a presentation on Women in Aviation by former pilot Lola Reid Allin. In 1980 Lola earned her commercial pilot license and became one of the few women in Canada licensed to fly for hire and reward. Lola has worked for the Ontario Government, been a Class I Flight Instructor as well as an award winning photographer and author and much more.

Lola will discuss her memoir, the rewards of an aviation career and the challenges faced by women, then and now. Her memoir, Highway to the Sky: An Aviator’s Journey was released in September 2024 and will be available to purchase. No registration required. Everyone welcome.
