Summer Reading starts today!
Today’s the day! Summer reading starts! Drop in and sign up today! Read books, collect fun stickers and win prizes! There will be a prize draw in July and August and multiple prizes to choose from each month so the more books you read the more ballots you get and the more chance you have of winning! Plus we have lots of cool books to read.
Pick up a Summer Reading Kit today!
It’s not too late to pick up a summer reading kit! We still have a few left. Drop in and pick one up today. While supplies last!
Check out our Storywalk!
We have been lucky enough to receive a Storywalk from the TD Summer Reading Club! The next time you come visit the library check it out by taking a stroll along the outside of the building and read “The Thing Lou Can’t Do” by Ashley Spires.

Let the fun begin! The Reading Rocks have been hidden around Stirling! Check for them in parks and outside businesses!
Sign up for the TD Summer Reading Club!
TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s biggest, bilingual summer reading program for kids of all ages, all interests, and all abilities. Studies show that kids who keep reading all summer do better when they return to school in the fall. The TD Summer Reading Club is a great way to build excitement about reading. Kids can take part anywhere—at local public libraries across Canada as well as at home, online, or wherever summer takes them.
Kids can: join activities happening in libraries, read books online and get reading recommendations, track their own reading and collect stickers and online badges, connect online to share jokes, stories, book reviews, and more with other kids across Canada.
Talk to your local public library staff this summer to find out how your family can join the TD Summer Reading Club and get your free materials!
Drop into the library to get your Book Bingo card! Read and win prizes! It’s that easy!
From June-August there will be Book Bingo at the library! All you have to do is read and you can win prizes! Once you complete a line on your Bingo card (vertical, horizontal, diagonal, or just read 5 books from the Bingo card) bring your completed card into the library and choose a prize from our Treat Basket! Your completed Bingo card will then be used as a ballot to enter into a draw for our Grand Prize gift basket at the end of the summer!
