January is Alzheimer Awareness Month. Join us for an information session at the Stirling-Rawdon Public Library on Thursday, January 16th from 2:30-4pm. Free, drop in session hosted by the Alzheimer’s Society.

Unfortunately, due to low attendance and someone to facilitate, the Read With Me Program on Wednesday mornings will not be returning in January. We will still make the room available if anyone would like to bring their little one for informal social/play time but we will not be able to facilitate the program at this time. We will re-evaluate before September about starting the program again or something similar depending on level of interest.
Drop in after school to play some games…board games, card games…your choice! Play ones we have in the library or bring your own!

What is improv?
Improvisation, or improv, is a form of live theatre in which the plot, characters and dialogue of a game, scene or story are made up in the moment. Often improvisers will take a suggestion from the audience, or draw on some other source of inspiration to get started.
Improv is unique in that if you see a performance, that’s it… there will never be another show exactly like it ever done again. Improv is different every time.
It will help you be more creative, become more confident and you will laugh A LOT. Join us, you’ll have a blast!
